Vortex and Microsoft Partner to Bring .Net Platform to Developers

November 8 2001, San Diego, CA — Vortex Data Systems, San Diego's leading Microsoft Certified Technical Education Center (CTEC), today announced that it is partnering with Microsoft to bring advanced training for Microsoft's .NET platform to application developers and programmers in San Diego County. The program, called Get2DotNet.net, is an Internet site and the gateway for programs that include Microsoft certified courses, hands-on labs and real-world lectures, all held in classrooms designed to meet the needs of the high-speed, cutting-edge technology of Microsoft's .NET technology.

According to Microsoft, .NET is their platform for XML Web services that allow applications to communicate and share data over the Internet, regardless of operating system or programming language. Because the Microsoft .NET Platform includes a complete family of products that are built on XML and Internet industry standards, they provide for each aspect of developing, managing, using, and experiencing XML Web services. Programming professionals will be tasked with mastering these products and tools and are the ones for whom the Get2DotNet.net program was conceived.
