| We do not automatically
collect any information |
 |
Vortex has no mechanism for capturing any information
about visitors to our web site. You can visit our web
site as often as you like without concern that we are
extracting information about you without your knowledge
or consent.
|
 |
| We collect
only information you provide to us |
|
The only information we have about you, is what you
provide when you register for a class via email or request
to be added to our EdBulletin mailing list. Since we
do not ask for specific payment data such as a credit
card number, your privacy and security are assured.
|
 |
How information
is used |
|
When you send us information regarding a class registration,
the information is forwarded to an Education Specialist
who follows-up with you to confirm your registration,
arrange payment and so forth. The information we require
is:
- Your name
- Physical address including zip code
- Phone number and email address
- How you plan to pay for your class.
This is done so that we can provide you with the information
you need in a timely and personalized manner. You are
not actually registered into a class until we speak
with you directly. You are not confirmed in a class
until payment is received either by check, credit card
or arranged via a corporate purchase order.
If you wish to receive the Vortex EdBulletin, which
includes our class schedule, via email, you can subscribe
on our site at http://www.vortexdata.com/subscribe.htm.
If you wish to receive our printed version of the EdBulletin,
send your name and address to the Vortex
Webmaster. Any information you provide is used only
to send you the EdBulletin.
|
 |
How information
is not used |
|
We do not sell, trade or rent the information you give
us to third party concerns. Any information you provide
is strictly for Vortex internal use. We do not send
unsolicited mail or email unless you have indicated
that you wish to receive information.
