Novell Certified Linux Professional 10 (CLP 10)

The Novell Certified Linux Professional 10 is for people interested in being Linux administrators. Skills demonstrated by someone holding a Novell CLP 10 certification include:

• working with Linux shell


• administering users, groups and file permissions


• configuring the network connection


• monitoring SUSE Linux Enterprise Server


• administering system initialization


• aministering virtualization with Xen


• configuring and using Samba


• creating shell scripts

To become a CLP, follow these simple steps:

1. Work with your Vortex Education Specialist to plan your training path. Our Education Specialists can help you plan your curriculum, choose a track that meets your career goals and help you prepare for the CLP certification test.
2. Sign and submit the Certification Agreement.
3. Pass the requisite test.
   (One exam is required to become a CLP)
